Early
Childhood
Early Childhood is a bespoke program with adaptations from a cross section of Italian and globally respected methodologies including: The Reggio-Emilia Approach, UK Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and the Ontario Kindergarten Curriculum. The program encourages meaningful exploration of the world and introduces Literacy, Maths, Music, Visual Arts and Physical Education. From an early age, students develop independence, communication and collaboration skills all while having fun.

The curriculum
The curriculum combines elements from internationally recognized frameworks that focus on the 7 essential building blocks of learning.

Children are engaged in a bilingual environment through age-appropriate activities, focusing on structured play, sensory exploration, and creativity in art and music. A specific physical education program will support fine-gross motor skills and cognitive development.

Children are immersed in a fully English program with more structured activities, introducing early literacy and numeracy. Play, multi-sensory experiences, and creative expression in art and music remain central, fostering both academic and physical development.

Junior Kindergarten builds on early literacy and numeracy skills with the introduction of more complex concepts, while continuing structured play, creative activities in art, music, and physical education.

Senior Kindergarten offers a more structured curriculum with subject differentiation, emphasising inquiry-based learning that nurtures curiosity and critical thinking. In addition to the core elements, students will have Italian lessons, enriching their cultural and language exposure. Guided play and creativity remain essential components, ensuring a joyful and well-rounded learning experience for every child.

SWIMMING LESSONS
Children ages 3 to 5 will have the opportunity to participate in swimming lessons. Children will enjoy a fun experience in the water, helping to build confidence, coordination, and essential water safety skills.
This hands-on approach ensures that every child develops a love for the water and swimming.
